One Team. One Goal.
This week we had the pleasure of working with the incredible team from Zimmer Biomet in a unique engineering and collaboration challenge.
The mission sounded simple… but required serious teamwork.
The group had to design and build multiple programmable robots, while at the same time constructing a large bridge system capable of carrying those robots safely from table to table.
But there was a twist.
The bridge had to support the weight, width, and movement of the robots, meaning every section had to be engineered carefully. If one part failed, the whole system would struggle.
Different teams were responsible for different pieces of the puzzle — robots, bridge sections, supports, and testing — but success depended on everyone working together toward a single outcome.
When the moment came to drive the robots across the bridge, you could feel the tension in the room.
Would the bridge hold?
Would the robots make it across?
Through communication, problem-solving and a shared focus on the objective, the team delivered.
Watching the robots successfully cross the bridge that they had collectively built was a great reminder that when teams align behind one goal, amazing things can happen.
A fantastic effort by the Zimmer Biomet team — collaboration, creativity and plenty of fun along the way.
